Getting started with RocketBolt's email tracking for Gmail is easy!
Our lead tracking, email, and monitoring feeds take just seconds to update from the time an event happens. This is as close to real-time as you can get without standing over your lead's shoulder.
Email tracking events can be permanently from the RocketBolt dashboard.
1) Go to your account > activity feeds > email (direct link).
2) Find the email tracking event you'd like to delete. Hover over the event with your mouse and click the icon in the top right.
3) Confirm that you'd like to permanently delete the event and you're done.
Note: Deleting email events through the dashboard will also permanently delete them from the RocketBolt email plugin in Gmail.
While RocketBolt's email tracking for Gmail is built to be as compatible as possible, we can't always account for every third-party plugin and extension. Listed below are conflicts that we are currently aware of:
If an extension you don't regularly use is conflicting with RocketBolt's email tracking plugin, try deleting or disabling it. This is easy to do. Simply go to chrome://extensions, find the offending extension, and either click the trash icon or uncheck the enable checkbox.
If you're browser is feeling slugish, you can try the following things to help make things fast again:
After installing RocketBolt's email tracking browser extension for either Chrome or Safari, you'll need to refresh your Gmail account. After refreshing, you'll be able to quickly activate your RocketBolt account through an activation window. This is what you should see:
If you are new to RocketBolt, simply enter your first and last name, and hit the Activate button.
Important: During activation, if you already have a RocketBolt account, please click the 'I already have an account' link. From there, you will enter your RocketBolt account email address and password. In this case, you will be able to connect multiple email accounts to a single RocketBolt account.
There's a known issue that causes our feeds to require a browser refresh in order to continue auto updating. This only happens when RocketBolt is open in a browser tab and the computer has just come out of standby mode.
